Title:  "My Mom Is Going to Kill Me"

Air Date: September 27, 2007
At Zhan Hu, on day four, Dave stepped into the lead
For at Tribal Council, he volunteered for the position
It quickly became apparent his word they shall heed
Amassing mud bricks was Dave's primary requisition

The tribe discussed where their shelter should stand
They gave opinions as to where the fire pit should sit
The fire pit alone, said Dave, was the top job at hand
As for all other details, he wished not to "belabor" it

Peih-Gee felt she worked well with her commander
They assisted each other in a non-competitive way
Though per Erik, Dave's style raised some dander
He was losing favor with the tribe, Erik would say

In need of replenishment, Jaime requested a fire
Dave made it clear they will be bending to his will
Aside from a fire pit, nary a thing did they require
The pit superseded all stomachs in need of a fill

Over at Fei Long, James was busy felling trees
Nearly all were working, tending to a vital chore
Yet, one mate's productivity dropped in degrees
A still sleeping Jean-Robert preferred to snore

Along with chores, Amanda had a personal task
In need of an alliance, she had to stake a claim
Of her seven tribes mates, it was Todd she'd ask
He readily agreed, for Amanda "knows the game"

That Todd was "very devious", was Amanda's take
Still, "at least until the merge", he would have to do
The new alliance had an imperative addition to make
Each stressed the need for adding one to their two

For both Amanda and Todd, Aaron was the best choice
Being the leader, any spotlights on them will surely dim
Their strategic plans, said Todd, Aaron would then voice
If plans go awry, said Amanda, that "puts the rap on him"

Privately, they met with Aaron, beside Treemail's statue
Aaron regarded the alignment a move to be undertaken
They would stick together, until the merge with Zhan Hu
With the agreement cemented, hands were then shaken

When they returned to camp, Aaron called a meeting
Fei Long needed an established routine, he'd behest
A fellow tribe mate balked, allegedly from not eating
Instead, said Jean Robert, "why don't we all just rest"

Jean-Robert, said Aaron, needed to "pull his weight"
A lack of sleep, replied Jean-Robert, had taken it's toll
Once sleep is recouped, and there's food upon his plate
Teamwork and productivity will be his most earnest goal

It was Jean-Robert's strategy to appear lazy and useless
Once he steps it up, respect and admiration will be found
He might be playing his cards with an unwise looseness
If Fei Long cuts him before he can execute a turnaround

Back at Zhan Hu, the tribe was still gathering mud bricks
Dave reiterated that building the fire pit was their priority
There was a growing problem which Dave refused to fix
Starvation and dehydration afflicted the great majority

For a "baby fire", at the least, Jaime plead her case
Dave shot her down, depriving Jaimie of her wish
For all her trying, she ended up with a muddy face
She conferred with Sherea, about their empty dish

Sherea said she could not function without food
Appreciation for their leader had quickly dampened
Over Dave's mud slinging, the two quietly stewed
Ashley approached them, asking, "what happened?"

A large brick that Dave was hauling, Sherea explained
Was dropped, resulting in Jaime taking a muddy splash
Dave's unyielding leadership had rendered them drained
When their wish to start a fire, he would continually dash

At camp, Dave was busy with the construction of the pit
For their leader, Ashley had a few choice words to impart
She remarked the tribe was starving, and in a bit of a snit
Said Dave, "how many fires have you built, sweetheart?"

That the job was his, an exasperated Ashley told Dave
She would leave him to do the work he insisted be done
Without food and water, their situation was turning grave
Ashley was quite certain she was speaking for everyone

Zhan Hu would rendezvous with Fei Long, later that day
Jeff would lead the tribes in their first battle for Reward
"Prepare to get dirty", a grinning Jeff Probst would say
For home, he would add, Chicken had a plane to board

Six will be squaring off, three on three to each round
Down two chutes will be released large, wooden balls
They'll land in a mud pit, into which the six must bound
This challenge will provide lots of spills and slippery falls

Their objective, said Jeff, was to give either ball a shove
A point is scored, once it is across the enemy's goal line
They'll be warding off opponent's, from below and above
The first tribe with two points wins a Reward most fine

"Fishing gear" was to be the prize for which they'll play
Additionally, a fishing boat awaits the winners, at camp
Fei Long and Zhan Hu's first trios prepared for the fray
As the time was nigh for sending balls down a ramp

Amanda, Aaron, and Denise were first up, for Fei Long
They will battle Jaime, Erik, and Sherea, from Zhan Hu
Around one wooden ball, Zhan Hu's trio would throng
Amanda and Denise seized them, amid the muddy brew

This five person pile up put Fei Long's Aaron on a roll
For Zhan Hu's goal line, he had an unencumbered shot
Though a charge by Sherea, Erik and Jaime took it's toll
All of a sudden, Aaron's shot was not looking too hot

The four ultimately took a tumble, into the muddy mess
As Amanda, with a ball to herself, headed for the end
In an instant, Erik and Sherea had Amanda in distress
Aaron quickly sloshed over to Amanda, to help defend

This left Jaime alone, and for the end zone, she darted
Aaron took notice, and toward Jaime he would trudge
Upon spotting Jaime's battle with Aaron, Erik departed
With Denise on his heels, Erik raced through the sludge

For Amanda and Sherea, it came down to a test of will
In addition to pulling off any clothes the other had on
Though her offensive was strong, Sherea took a spill
This allowed Amanda to score point one for Fei Long

"Put your top back on", Jean-Robert gallantly said
A little bit of horror then mixed with Amanda's glee
For topless, her point scoring charge had been led
Embarrassed, she said, "my mom is going to kill me!"

Zhan Hu's Frosti, Dave and Ashley were in round two
Fei Long's three were James, Leslie and Jean-Robert
Releasing two more large balls is what Jeff would do
Into the swampy water, the six survivors would tear

James reached one ball, and began pushing ahead
For Zhan Hu's yellow goalpost, he made a beeline
Frosti tried to interfere with the charge James led
But only managed to cling to his back, like a vine

Dave joined Frosti, in thwarting James' progress
With Leslie on the move, Ashley ran interference
Ashley summarily put Leslie in a state of duress
With these five busy, Jean-Robert had clearance

Ashley ditched Leslie, as Jean-Robert sped away
Leaving James to Dave, Frosti lent Ashley a hand
Leslie assisted James in putting Dave out of play
James noticed that Jean-Robert was out-manned

Frosti and Ashley both, Jean-Robert now fought
James arrived, pulling Frosti into the murky mire
Not much time, from James' assault, was bought
To stopping their foe, Zhan Hu's two would aspire

They tried climbing Jean-Robert, as if he were a tree
The four battled for what this challenge would afford
James managed to wrestle the large, wooden ball free
He rolled it over the goal, winning the coveted Reward

A second victory for Fei Long was happily celebrated
The tribe earned the fishing boat, along with the gear
A twist was now in play, as Jeff had previously stated
An explanation of which they were anxious to hear

As those victorious, Fei Long had a decision to make
Whom to kidnap from the opposing tribe was their call
Jaimie was the Zhan Hu member they chose to take
Jeff called Jaime forward, as that was not quite all

She received a wooden tube; "Open In Private", it read
Upon returning to camp, Jeff advised her to pick a spot
Until the next challenge, she'll live at Fei Long, instead
Off with her temporary tribe mates, Jaime would trot

Zhan Hu returned to discover a camp hard hit by a flood
Their unfinished shelter looked like a sinking houseboat
What wasn't under the water, was instead under the mud
However, the fire pit held strong, Dave was quick to note

At Fei Long, a kidnapped Jaime took some alone time
Aaron said Zhan Hu will miss their "spot of sunshine"
Todd told all to keep an eye out for a possible crime
For Jaimie, Fei Long's flint will need be hard to find

Leslie regarded Todd as having his wits about him
Someone as such, she wished to have on her side
Elsewhere, Jaime had a mysterious tube to open
A smaller bamboo tube, and a note, it would hide

The smaller tube held a hidden Immunity idol clue
In it's presently sealed condition, it'll be passed on
Before the next challenge, and a return to Zhan Hu
She must give the clue to a member from Fei Long

Back at camp, Jaime was in the mood for a nap
The same mood struck Jean-Robert, once again
Jean-Robert's need to nap caused Aaron to snap
After which, a back and forth the two engaged in

It happening in front of Jaime had Courtney irked
She preferred to keep tribal infighting under wraps
Jaime was getting a feel for how Fei Long worked
Once reunited with Zhan Hu, she can fill in the gaps

Over at Zhan Hu, the recent flooding was assessed
Dave suggested they use the mud, as it would harden
His leadership, Ashley and Sherea continued to detest
Being "bossy", said Sherea, adults find hard to pardon

On day five, at Fei Long, Leslie felt under the weather
Too much mud, and too little scripture, had her down
If she could only read her Bible, she'd feel a lot better
She'd be feeling just that, once Jaime came around

Upon Leslie, a sealed in bamboo clue was bestowed
As "a gift from God", Leslie viewed Jaime's decision
Jaime saw Leslie as Fei Long's top choice to unload
She hoped safety for Leslie resulted in tribal division

On the sixth day, Leslie carefully undertook a search
That the idol was plain to see, the clue would advise
Leslie felt her sleuthing would leave her in the lurch
Approaching Todd was a move she considered wise

To Todd, Leslie's possession of a clue was revealed
She asked for his help, for an idol she had yet to see
Leslie suggested to Todd that a deal need be sealed
Though momentarily stunned, he managed to agree

Later that day, an Immunity Challenge beckoned
"Back for more punishment...", was Jeff's greeting
Jeff asked Jaime how the abduction was reckoned
With Fei Long, she appreciated sleeping and eating

"Two tribe colored walls" must quickly be smashed
A Chinese puzzle log will aid each tribe, in this phase
All will pass through, once a wall is sufficiently bashed
Once two walls are cleared, they'll contend with a maze

Their Chinese puzzle log, through a maze, must thread
However, there is only one way to move the log along
When, through the maze, the Chinese puzzle log is fed
They must speed ahead, and clang an awaiting gong

The first tribe doing so avoids Tribal that night
Jeff said, for an even twelve, three will sit it out
Jamie, Courtney and Leslie stepped to the right
After which, Jeff Probst let out a familiar shout

"Survivors ready...go!", put the challenge in play
Fei Long attacked a first wall with great ferocity
Forward, and backward, their log would sway
Zhan Hu worked with slightly slower velocity

In short order, Fei Long demolished wall one
Wall number two was now taking the beating
Before long, Zhan Hu had also gotten it done
Their log, and a second wall, were meeting

As Fei Long smashed a second wall to bits
Zhan Hu's Dave was running out of steam
After being their lead man, he called it quits
Frosti switched out with Dave, for the team

This benefited Zhan Hu, as behind they trailed
Now through wall two, Fei Long tackled the maze
In smashing a last wall, Zhan Hu finally prevailed
With the maze, both tribes were less than un-fazed

Between both teams, the lead went forth and back
Until tribe Fei Long brought this nail biter to an end
They mastered the maze, and gave the gong a whack
Another evening at Tribal Council, Zhan Hu will spend

Back at camp Zhan Hu, Dave apologized to his mates
He said footing, rhythm, and power, on him were lost
Now, they had to attend the most unfortunate of dates
A seat at Tribal Council is what their latest defeat cost

Dave believed his challenge failure was nothing to fear
He had, after all, been working his fingers to the bone
Dave was feeling "confident", as the ritual drew near
Still, he cautiously added, "nothing is set in stone"

Ashely was certain which name Dave would write
It would be hers, therefore a plan was formulated
She decided to save her attack for later that night
At Tribal, an assault on Dave would be instigated

Erik, Jaime and Sherea discussed concrete facts
Dave and Ashley's negative bickering wore thin
Ashley rightly opposed Dave's overbearing tacts
Still, a lot of work was being done, thanks to him

That one of the two must depart was for certain
Their choices were either workhorse, or friend
They'll need decide on whom to drop the curtain
A stronger, unified Zhan Hu, each would intend

Off to Tribal Council the seven hiked, on night six
Six of the seven will make the return trip to camp
Jeff greeted them, asking if they had applied a fix
Was a leader appointed, to orchestrate a revamp?

To Frosti, Jeff's initial question was directed
As a leader, Dave appeared to be a good pick
Yet, Frosti added, he does more than expected
Dave interjected, calling it "a hard habit to kick"

Jeff noticed that Ashley was rolling her eyes
With Dave, said Ashley, she had butted heads
Still, his leadership she did not entirely despise
Though asking questions is a thing she dreads

Jeff said her remark rubbed Dave the wrong way
Dave stated any and all questions were addressed
That he wanted camp life "squared away", he'd say
As anticipated, replied Ashley, Dave would protest

Jeff asked Ashley if the problem may be with her
Or was Dave's leadership irking others, as well?
Ashley believed Dave had much wrath to incur
His talking "in cirlcles" disallowed them to gel

Jeff asked Jaime about the current leadership
Did it appear Dave have something to prove?
Jaime said, through the work, Dave would rip
That may explain why he's always on the move

Staying with Jaime, Jeff asked about Zhan Hu
What must they do, for the sake of their team?
Dave, said Jaime, must hear everyone through
In addition, his responses should not demean

Sherea said, since arriving, she'd had no fun
More so, a few last names she'd yet to learn
Dave said the work had occupied everyone
Sherea said that's what he needs to discern

As a tribe, said Sherea, they'd yet to confer
If Ashley pipes up, an outcome is expected
Dave will make a comment right back at her
"Now, I'm on the block", Ashley interjected

Jeff asked Ashley the basis of her decision
"I'm voting for Dave", she effortlessly said
To Dave, Jeff wondered what he'd envision
If Ashley takes the fateful walk they all dread

Dave said less eggshells would be traversed
If Ashley were to be the tribe mate forsaken
The voting commenced , with Erik "up first"
Jeff collected the tally that had been taken

Ashley hoped her comments were heeded
She set out to prove Dave's rule was ghastly
However, she didn't wrestle the votes needed
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Ashley
