At Tribal, on night twenty seven, the survivors remained
To camp, said Jeff, they "will not be heading directly back"
For the jurors, further information would not be attained
With surprise, as well as fear, the jaws of most were slack
Once Jaime and Jean-Robert exited, the suspense lifted
For a reward, Jeff would state, "you're going to compete"
With "no ordinary reward", the victorious one will be gifted
They'll be flying high, with the Songshen peaks at their feet
To the fifth century, by private jet, they'll travel back in time
The Shaolin Temple, home to Kung Fu, is their destination
A vegetarian meal, and overnight stay will be most sublime
Additionally, they'll be treated to a Kung Fu demonstration
The challenge winner will choose two, to share the reward
But first, to a series of questions they must correctly reply
Knowledge of Chinese culture may result in a point scored
The first to reach a score of five will be headed for the sky
Jeff asked they retrieve a black pouch, beneath each seat
He requested six "answer cards" be removed from within
One card must be displayed, once the inquiry is complete
With the details explained, Jeff's questioning would begin
"China is credited with the invention of the abacus", said he
Scoring were Todd, James, Peih-Gee and Denise, with "true"
Displaying a "false" card were Erik, Amanda and Courtney
Once the answers were revealed, it was on to question two
"Which animal does not belong in the Chinese Zodiac?"
Either a rat, a rabbit, a cat, or a rooster was out of place
Everyone earned one point, after displaying "c", for "cat"
The third question pertained to a bear with a round face
"Ninety nine percent of the giant panda's diet is bamboo"
To all but Denise, displaying "true" was a point awarded
Courtney, Amanda, Erik and Denise were tied up at two
James, Peih-Gee and Todd each had three, Jeff reported
They needed to recall China's capitol, in question four
Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Macau were named
Correctly displaying Beijing, all but Amanda would score
An observation, by Jeff, at three of the seven was aimed
At four points each, Peih-Gee, James and Todd were tied
From winning the revered prize, they were one point away
Of a red envelope, Jeff asked what would be found inside
Options for what the color signified, he would then relay
A love letter? Cash? A notice of death, or military draft?
Peih-Gee alone knew that cash will be enveloped in red
She, and two of her choosing, will board the jet aircraft
Erik and Denise would share in the adventure ahead
With Tribal Council concluded, they were excused
The following morning, a small boat came ashore
Those scheduled to embark were in a deep snooze
James awoke the three who in the clouds will soar
A sleepy Peih-Gee, Erik and Denise climbed aboard
They greeted their guide, and took a seat by the bow
For Peih-Gee to have chosen her to share the reward
Said Denise, "I have so much love for her right now"
Still, it worried Denise, spending time away from camp
It made her nervous to be unaware of what may occur
Four others watched the boat pull away from the ramp
It quickly sped away, and in no time was a mere blur
Todd looked around at James, Amanda and Courtney
He was pleased, stated he, of the current configuration
They'd a "sneak preview" of how the final four could be
James gave another warning about resisting temptation
Though seeming to agree, Amanda had ideas of her own
With any of them, in the final three, she wished not to sit
Elsewhere, to the Shaolin Temple, three others were flown
For Peih-Gee and company, the view below was exquisite
Over pistachios and champagne, the three shared a toast
With Erik and herself, said Peih-Gee, Denise should align
If they convince James to join them, to the end they'll coast
An evasive Denise said the game could change at any time
Peih-Gee suggested Todd be first up on the chopping block
Denise thought it best to keep chewing, so as not to speak
Though "outsiders", she listened to Peih-Gee and Erik talk
For with eleven days remaining, their help she might seek

Peih-Gee was moved by the culture the experience afforded
Her Chinese heritage had been a "foreign world", she stated
A Monk asked Denise about her knowledge of Martial Art
That she was an eight year student, she would softly reply
They'd be given a demonstration, the Monk would impart
After changing into robes, an amazing spectacle was nigh
Once the demonstration was finished, children appeared
From them, the three survivors were bestowed a lesson
Through a series of movements, the guests were steered
For the Temple visitors, it was an unforgettable session
Denise was asked if a demonstration she might provide
Honored beyond all description, Denise eagerly accepted
Before young and old, eight years of practice was applied
For Erik, Denise's expertise was completely unexpected
After the festivities, amid a courtyard they were seated
Their eyes widened with the arrival of a delicious meal
To a variety of dishes their starving souls were treated
That night, they slept in sleeping quarters most surreal

Inside, however, she found three less than eager inquisitors
Courtney, Todd and James were simply in no mood to care
Later that afternoon, Todd had a conversation with Denise
Todd was informed that Peih-Gee had seized the opportunity
Denise said she gave Peih-Gee the chance to speak her piece
Peih-Gee suggested Erik and Denise join her in the final three
Additionally, Denise said Todd was named first, for a snuffing
That he now hated Peih-Gee's guts, Todd would later confide
All Peih-Gee's ideas, said Denise, she planned on rebuffing

Sticking with Fei Long, added he, would get him to the loot
James thought this was something that Erik already knew
On day thirty, Amanda and Courtney departed for a walk
There was treemail to retrive, as well as a plan to hatch
Amanda purposefully got Courtney alone, to have a talk
To advance in the game, James they will need to dispatch
Citing his two idols, Amanda said he controlled the game
At the next Tribal, it was imperative James be blindsided
Having no concerns, Courtney agreed to write his name
All James' advise about apples was summarily derided
As for a bite, Amanda was ready "to eat the whole pie"
Later that day, to an immunity challenge they headed
The contest about to commence will see the stars fly
Come nightfall, it will be the evening one has dreaded
Three stars a piece, at three targets, must be thrown
To each human shaped target, a number is assigned
By hitting a target, they'll earn the point value shown
In the heart of one shape, a bonus target they'll find
At the round's end, the top three will continue to play
In the second round, they'll have but one star to toss
Round two's winner scores immunity, Jeff would say
Peih-Gee led off, and on all three tosses, took a loss
Peih-Gee returned to her seat, having been eliminated
Todd would follow, and on his third toss, scored three
Twice, upon a three point target, Erik had a star situated
The next survivor with three stars to fling was Courtney
Three points Courtney scored, on her first toss alone
With her second and third toss, she'd add three more
James followed, earning zip from his first star thrown
After the next two, however, six points was his score
Amanda stepped forward, scoring three with a first star
A second toss failed, but a final toss brought her to six
Denise needed to match six, but scored well under par
Between Peih-Gee and Todd, Denise was soon betwixt
Erik, Courtney, James and Amanda sat in a four-way tie
In a "sudden death" round, the top four would participate
With but one star to toss, precision they will need to apply
The targets would be moved back ten feet, Jeff would state
Courtney went first, earning zero points for her final throw
Once Amanda's star flew, two became the number to beat
After Erik topped her by one, to the line James would go
Seeing him fail to score brought a happy Erik to his feet
"Erik wins immunity!", Jeff shouted, with necklace in hand
Jeff placed it on Erik, making him safe from the night's vote
Back at camp, James felt sure it'd be Peih-Gee, as planned
James hoped the apple would not dictate what they wrote
Privately, Amanda asked Todd if they could "brainstorm"
Her plan for blindsiding James was brought to the table
That Peih-Gee and Erik were "fighters", Todd would warn
At winning challenges, they'd both proven they were able
Amanda said they might as well just hand James the win
Saying the time to oust James was "now", Todd relented
Later on, Todd and Amanda filled Denise and Courtney in
The plan to blindside their tireless provider was cemented
In the shelter, meanwhile, Erik and Peih-Gee were lounging
Peih-Gee spied a bag, which through the roof was peeking
Discovering James' hidden idols had Peih-Gee scrounging
Armed with possible leverage, Amanda she was seeking
Once located, Peih-Gee informed Amanda of her find
She asked if Amanda knew what James was hoarding
To the vote, Amanda suggested Peih-Gee pay no mind
To scrambling, said she, Peih-Gee need not be resorting
Peih-Gee returned to the shelter, and Erik was apprised
They both concluded that James was scheduled for a fall
Therefore, stated Peih-Gee, a vote for Todd would be wise
For Erik, that James may play an idol made that a tough call
Elsewhere, James was preparing for a Tribal Council trek
In the belief that Peih-Gee was exiting, James was secure
Despite a feeling of confidence as to what he could expect
James would be toting his immunity idols, just to be sure

James claimed losers shouldn't be allowed to coast

Regarding trust, Jeff provided Todd with a scale
