JAIME
Back from Tribal Council, Fei Long called it a night
Upon the shelter floor, the six survivors were abed
Jean-Robert was "surprised" by what came to light
Referring to the one with whom he lay head to head

Jean-Robert was unaware that in the air was tension
The depth of Courtney's dislike of him had been news
It was up to them to work out, Amanda would mention
Be it peace, or discord, the two would have to choose

Jean-Robert made a promise to Amanda, in response
She would be upset, were she to be maligned as such
Todd echoed Amanda's words, as they lay ensconced
As for eye-rolling, a silent Courtney engaged in much

For she considered his treatment of her to be "horrible"
Yet her "friends", Todd and Amanda, seemed not to care
That they "suck up" to him, Courtney deemed deplorable
But, she disliked them less than she disliked Jean-Robert

Next morn, Peih-Gee worked on James, over at Zhan Hu
A vow to sacrifice a former mate was among her claims
Asked she, "do we not seem like loyal people to you?"
"Yeah...to each other", answered a distracted James

As Peih-Gee continued, an object James was eyeing
He glanced at a plaque adorning Zhan Hu's tribal gate
For merge solidarity with James, Peih-Gee was vying
As for any post merge plans, he suggested they wait

For James, retrieving the plaque was his main mission
Opportunity presented itself, once Peih-Gee departed
Rather than be obvious, he wanted to avoid suspicion
With axe in hand, his immunity idol quest got started

That James was trustworthy, Peih-Gee would conclude
Still, that he could be "a good conman", she'll consider
She joined Erik and Jaime, who were in an antsy mood
Banking on James' reliability had their nerves a twitter

Back at camp, James removed a plaque from on high
It did not resemble the idol Todd placed into his hand
He needed one with "creatures of the night" that fly
James dropped it, and onto the ground it would land

The second plaque removed proved to be the prize
Zhan Hu's immunity idol was now in his possession
To immediately tuck it away, James regarded as wise
As back to camp, there would soon be a procession

Over at Fei Long, Frosti and Jean-Robert were fishing
At camp, an unhinged looking Courtney was in a huff
For Jean-Robert's game to end, she had been wishing
Yet instead, it was Sherea's torch that took the snuff

Todd stated, for his game, Jean-Robert was needed
Courtney felt he could stick up for her, just the same
Feelings, said Todd, by numbers were superseded
Todd added he would love to stand up for her name

Courtney said he needn't stand up to Jean-Robert
That he not be pandered to is what she would ask
Todd returned her protests with a frustrated stare
That Jean-Robert not flip, said he, was their task

For their sake, said Todd, he wanted to clear the air
Replied Courtney, "what difference does it make?!"
It made a difference, Denise and Todd would declare
Olive branches and advise, Courtney refused to take

"Obviously, you don't care then", Amanda would say
She followed that up with the question, "do you care?"
All Courtney offered was an apathetic, ho-hum display
"That's fine", said Amanda, with no tolerance to spare

Todd worried that Courtney may disrupt the apple cart
To Zhan Hu, a vote for Jean-Robert she'll likely pitch
Come the merge, his game advantage could fall apart
Outside of her earshot, Todd said, "deal with it, bitch"

Back at Zhan Hu, their nineteenth day idly progressed
In the shelter, Jaime and Peih-Gee were laying about
To Erik, standing nearby, Jaime would make a request
There was something the archway was now without

Jaime noticed one of the plaques was not in place
"It fell right off, huh?", said she, of the missing decor
The plaque that occupied the now unadorned space
Was picked up by Erik, who then headed for the shore

That the plaque had not fallen was Erik's presumption
He knew James was aware there was an idol to be found
That it had been removed by James was the assumption
Erik pondered exactly what he'd picked up off the ground

"It looks idol-ish", said Erik, with a smile quite broad
Once Peih-Gee exited, he asked Jaime to have a look
That it had no recognizable symbol, Jaime found odd
When darkness fell, a bit of snooping she undertook

While frog catching occupied James and Peih-Gee
For a search inside his bag, Jaime took her chance
She had to rely on touch, for it was too dark to see
Jaime found two plaque's wrapped in James' pants

The next morning, James noticed the missing plaque
He figured Jaime must have found it the previous day
That she'll mistake it for an idol caused a laugh attack
"Please let that happen!", a gleeful James would say

Later that day, Zhan Hu and Fei Long would meet
To mats of yellow and red, the tribes were directed
On day twenty, for no reward would they compete
It was the announcement that most had expected

"Drop your buffs...you're merged", Jeff would state
They cheered, and plenty of hugs were exchanged
In individual challenges they will now participate
Jeff threw ten black buffs to the newly arranged

Jaime was excited a merge had finally occurred
Especially with an "immunity idol" up her sleeve
With her useless plaque, no safety was assured
That her "idol" was the real McCoy, she believed

"In keeping with 'The Art of War'", Jeff would add
The dominating Fei Long would keep their beach
Jeff's statement momentarily made Phei-Gee sad
Until she learned a banquet was within her reach

In a "merge feast" the new tribe shall soon partake
They'll watch Chinese cultural entertainers perform
A parting "strong reminder", Jeff would then make
"This game never stops", he would soberly warn

A bridge was traversed, as off to the feast they went
Jean-Robert contemplated Jeff's ominous suggestion
Though, not too much time on his warning was spent
As foremost in Jean-Robert's thoughts was ingestion

A burst of exploding firecrackers welcomed the ten
At a long table, the players were asked to take a seat
A multitude of delicious dishes were then ushered in
Assorted alcoholic beverages made the meal complete

While they enjoyed their feast, acrobats entertained
"Very good", commented Jean-Robert, in Mandarin
In memory, the experience will forever be retained
A most celebratory mood the newly merged were in

Amanda thought of strategies, for the days ahead
As a skilled Chinese performer climbed atop a pole
A charge by the original Fei Long must now be led
Seeing the last of the original Zhan Hu was the goal

The survivors returned from the amazing celebration
In the shelter, the sated, slightly tipsy tribe lay about
A tribe name need be chosen, was Frosti's declaration
They were to paint a flag, once that's been figured out

Ultimately, "Hae Da Fung" was unanimously selected
The English equivalent would be "Black Fighting Wind"
Suddenly, toward the shore, their eyes were directed
The lackadaisical mood about camp excitedly dinned

"Is that Jeff?", asked Denise, of an approaching guest
Sure enough, their dimpled, hat wearing host drew near
The sumptuous feast was not all they'd need to digest
Most, no doubt, wondered, "what is Jeff doing here?"

"For one of you", said Jeff, he'll be presenting a gift
To the players, an immunity necklace was displayed
It will adorn the neck of one whose memory is swift
As a first individual challenge would now be played

Jeff reminded them of his previously stated warning
From the feast, they must provide their recollections
This'll determine whom the necklace will be adorning
Tribe Hae Da Fung took a seat, per Jeff's directions

They'll each be given a tablet upon which to write
An incorrect answer takes them out of contention
They settled down, and at the bit were ready to bite
The survivors quickly pondered Jeff's first question

"How many times did firecrackers go off?", asked he
Six, of ten, had "three" correctly written on their slate
Finished were Amanda, Courtney, James and Peih-Gee
The second question of the challenge, Jeff would state

Upon their celebratory table, "what was the centerpiece?"
A correct response from Todd, Erik and Frosti was seen
Jaime passed the test, as did Jean-Robert and Denise
Everyone remembered a dragon, in the color of green

Jeff called to mind a pole, in the middle of the courtyard
If they remember it was yellow, they'll continue to play
For four, of six, the recollection would prove too hard
Todd, Denise, Erik and Jean-Robert would call it a day

To Jaime and Frosti, a fourth question was addressed
What was worn on the feet of those with skirts flowing?
To the fact they wore nothing, only Frosti could attest
Around his neck, the symbol of immunity will be going

The next morning, James started a fire for Hae Da Fung
As she ate a lime, Peih-Gee would quietly sit by his side
The rest of the tribe was slowly greeting day twenty one
Peih-Gee was unsure where James stood, she'd confide

"We're still cool, right?", Peih-Gee would softly inquire
A somber, "yeah", was all James was willing to afford
Later, with Todd, James' mood became decidedly lighter
One from Zhan Hu, said James, harbored a useless board

After a brief chuckle, Todd turned to the business at hand
He asked if the theft of Zhan Hu's idol had been a success
James let Todd know everything went better than planned
If the useless board is played, someone will be in distress

With James, Todd wanted their block of five confirmed
They would team with Amanda, Denise and Courtney
James gave his word, and their meeting was adjourned
He then hiked off to the lake, where Amanda would be

James told Amanda about the case of mistaken identity
They shared a laugh at the possibility of an appearance
Amanda stressed it was vital to oust the Zhan Hu three
She hoped Courtney would not cause any interference

Elsewhere, Jean-Robert and Todd engaged in chopping
As the two men worked, Jean-Robert threw out a pitch
One woman may well possess the incentive for flopping
He thought Peih-Gee, rather than Jaime, they need ditch

Additionally, Todd was afforded a warning most dire
Jean-Robert said he'll blame Todd if he gets "screwed"
Todd nodded, yet for the big guy's demise he'd aspire
For Jean-Robert, a future awakening might be rude

At camp, Jaime and Peih-Gee discussed the vote
From them, Jean-Robert would be receiving a hit
Jaime kept from Peih-Gee that an "idol" she'd tote
Beside Frosti, a bit later, Jaime and Erik would sit

Jaime told Frosti Zhan Hu's idol had been claimed
Frosti asked Jaime how the discovery came about
In haste, James may have dropped it, she explained
Therefore, Jean-Robert was slated to be voted out

Frosti was unsure if Jaime's "idol" was the real deal
It was a concern, for Jean-Robert could take the fall
Having immunity, Frosti weighed whose fate to seal
Whichever side he chooses, it would be Frosti's call

Todd and Jaime had a talk, as together they walked
Jaime claimed she knew who had an idol in the bag
At her offer to barter the information, Todd balked
On a little bike far behind, said he, Jaime would lag

In the shelter, Jean-Robert worked James' last nerve
That Jean-Robert vote out Jaime, James would advise
If he refused, said James, a snuffing is what he'll deserve
For he'll stupidly tip the scales in favor of his own demise

For a first trip to Tribal Council, Hae Da Fung would hike
"Full house", observed Jeff, as ten survivors filed past
Jeff asked Amanda what the post-merge game was like
Amanda said they all got along and were having a blast

Jeff asked Peih-Gee about Amanda's upbeat reply
If you have numbers, said she, it's easy to have fun
Jeff asked Jean-Robert if a new dynamic would apply
Now that Fei Long and Zhan Hu had merged into one

Jean-Robert said the difference was already at play
That Courtney would go far, said he, was a sure bet
Jeff saw Courtney roll her eyes at what he had to say
Courtney said he was trying to call her out as a threat

Over the exchange, Jeff saw James shake his head
Jean-Robert, said James, didn't know when to stop
James would prefer him to hold his tongue, instead
Rather than vocalizing whatever comes off the top

Jeff asked Peih-Gee if a tribal crack was hard to find
Peih-Gee said they'd gathered valuable information
For a target, she knew they had Jean-Robert in mind
She hoped his ousting would be given contemplation

Jeff asked Jaime what one does when on the block
Jaime hoped she was seen as nice to have around
Jeff adjourned the customary Tribal Council talk
As the survivors were now voting booth bound

Jeff collected the tally, but before it was revealed
By a query from Jaime, the reading was delayed
She brought forth a plaque previously concealed
It was the move James hoped would be played

"I found this...is it an idol?", she would wonder
With an idol, said Jeff, Jaime would be spared
Jean-Robert feared his game would go asunder
However, Jaime's was not an idol, Jeff shared

Her chance to dissuade a blond image was lost
Jaime looked as though she was about to cry
Into the fire, the worthless plaque was tossed
A relieved "oh my gosh!", Jean-Robert let fly

As Jeff read the votes, one was beklempt
Her blunder will live on in 'Survivor' infamy
Still, one can't really fault her for the attempt
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Jaime
