Title:  "A Slippery Little Sucker"

Air Date:  December 16, 2007
From Tribal Council returned the game's final three
Todd and Courtney watched Amanda scurry away
She preferred not to engage in celebratory revelry
For to Todd, an irate Amanda had nothing to say

Todd chased her down, asking what was wrong
At Tribal, said Amanda, Todd had called her out
In claiming his innocence, Todd came on strong
"I'm so over this!", Amanda would clearly shout

A bad view of her, said Todd, he tried not to leave
He reacted to Denise's most obvious humiliation
In Todd words, said Amanda, she did not believe
She chose sleep over confrontation or celebration

In the morning, treemail deposited a basket of food
A big breakfast was prepared over peaceful chatter
After the night prior, everyone was in a better mood
Amanda was smiling as she poured pancake batter

When they finished eating, the camp was set ablaze
They threw in "Jean-Robert's Louis Vuitton shoes"
The final three reflected on the past thirty nine days
They also sized up their chance to either win or lose

Courtney was proud for having made it to the end
She hoped the jury would respect her honest play
Todd hoped on jury relationships he could depend
In China, he felt he'd "grown up", Todd would say

The honesty of her game, Amanda would highlight
For having played, her fear of failure had diminished
There was nothing for them to do but await the night
They headed for Tribal, when the day was finished

Jeff welcomed the three, asking each to take a seat
A jury of seven was called in, and they did the same
Once all statements and jury questions are complete
The jury vote will determine the winner of the game

With Amanda's opening statement, the ritual began
She came in with a strategy, and it brought success
She immediately aligned with Todd, as was her plan
Apologies for hurt feelings were woefully professed

Todd thanked the jury, for his "dream come true"
He lied about the game, not about bonds shared
Todd hoped they'd differentiate between the two
And, for the smallest guy, pretty well had he fared

Courtney said she was neither strategic nor a fan
Still, she found a way to stay that worked for her
She hoped the jury would offer a respectful hand
For that "the little girl" would fail, most were sure

James was the first juror with a question to ask
Courtney was requested to recount "a good day"
In Fei Long's first victory, she was up for the task
She knew she wouldn't be the first one sent away

With that one question asked, James was through
Jeff asked James why he'd chosen to be so terse
To not be a "bitter Betty", he thought best to do
James said what was upcoming may be worse

Jean-Robert stepped forward, at Jeff's request
Regarding his ballot, a dilemma he was now in
To Courtney, a vote he should not be bequest
For he never believed that she deserved to win

However, to Amanda and Todd a vow was made
Jean-Robert would vote for neither, if he got took
To the three, "my vote tonight is live", he relayed
Since none of them were deserving in his book

To Courtney, he asked an answer be submitted
Why should he vote for her, over the other two?
Thirteen were outlasted, outplayed and outwitted
She also won immunity, something he failed to do

"Good answer", said he, and on to Amanda he went
He asked if she had lied, or simply changed her mind
Night twenty four, to the walk of shame he was sent
The day prior, she said he'd have no trouble to find

Amanda told Jean-Robert her word was broken
She needed to do what the others wanted to do
In her apology, the words "I lied" were spoken
Amanda assured him that was merely a snafu

Jean-Robert asked Todd why he was blindsided
Todd answered, after which seven jurors guffawed
His "biggest threat" status demanded he be slighted
Seeing a speechless Jean-Robert had James awed

Peih-Gee said the most deserving would get her vote
She asked if Todd had been strategic, or merely "slid"
Todd said he'd strategized since first exiting the boat
His spot in the final three reflected everything he did

Peih-Gee told Amanda she'd had it with the doe eyes
Compared to Todd, what scheme had she executed?
Amanda said her campaign against James was wise
And with that, Peih-Gee's questioning was concluded

Erik was up next, and it was Amanda he'd address
What was the riskiest move she made in the game?
To the stressfulness of James's ousting, she'd attest
But she saw to it his torch was snuffed, just the same

Frosti requested from Todd a reason for getting a nod
He claimed the lying and back stabbing was all game
The relationships he developed were real, said Todd
Frosti asked Courtney why she had written his name

Courtney said her feelings toward him were real
She had not positioned him to be a "pocket juror"
His impending ousting, she'd no chance to reveal
For doubts that she would do it had caused a furor

As to one another, Jaime asked they dish the dirt
Back and forth, the "laundry" was benignly tossed
Once completed, no one had been particularly hurt
Denise stepped up, looking very double-crossed

Amanda, said a dejected looking Denise, had lied
After that statement, she turned her eyes to Todd
Her original Fei Long mate had a "deceptive side"
Courtney's honesty, though, Denise could applaud

With the jury comments and questions completed
The votes were collected, and the reading begun
The three hoped to hear their name oft repeated
Todd and Courtney had two, and Amanda, one

When the sixth vote read "Todd", he beamed
Just a vote away, his smile was quite broad
Jeff held up a final ballot, and he screamed
The winner of 'Survivor: China' was Todd!
