From Tribal Council number twelve returned the final four
Stated Denise, "is this a plan turned into motion, or what?"
Together since starting the game in the clothes they wore
The survivors shared hugs in front of their make-shift hut
As for herself, Courtney was amazed to have survived
She'd anticipated finishing the game in sixteenth place
By "slipping through the cracks", this night had arrived
To the end, Courtney hoped that would remain the case
On day thirty seven, Denise focused on caloric intake
Food was foremost in her thoughts, for what lie ahead
Energy was key, as a seat in the final three was at stake
Denise knew she'd have a better chance if she were fed
For the "tough fight" before her, Denise felt prepared
To herself, she'd proven she could "overcome anything"
China had been a "life changing experience", she shared
Still, receiving some nourishment would not hurt a thing
Later, Amanda returned to camp with treemail to recite
The four would have "one last chance" to score a meal
Amanda was in need of fuel, for the final immunity fight
Winning this "most important reward" could seal the deal
Off they hiked for the final reward challenge of the game
Jeff called them in, and before him the four formed a line
Losing out on "comfort and advantage" would be a shame
Speed, and an analytical mind, they will need to combine
"Our version of the Great Wall of China", met their eyes
A scaled down section had been dramatically replicated
They'll need to "tackle" the structure, Jeff would advise
The particulars of the challenge were then stipulated
Atop the wall they'll begin, after "survivors ready...go!"
Down a ladder they'll climb, and to a bridge they'll race
They'll cross to a second bridge, with no planks to show
Ten planks, in their unique spaces, they will need to place
With the bridge complete, over and forward they will depart
They must race to a pile of puzzle blocks, each color-coded
To the top of the wall, every puzzle block they'll need to cart
First, "a traditional Chinese Yok", said Jeff, must be loaded
A puzzle they'll need master, once every block's atop the wall
Four sections of the wall, Jeff stated, remained uncompleted
With the blocks, they'll fill in one section, using each and all
To a pizza, the first player to finish their wall will be treated
Along with the pizza, they'll enjoy brownies, soda and beer
The comfort food, and the calories, will buoy body and soul
A big advantage, as the final immunity challenge drew near
The four climbed their ladders, each with victory their goal
They descended the wall, as the challenge got under way
Todd reached the second bridge, and his assembly began
Shortly, Amanda, Courtney and Denise had planks to lay
Todd finished his bridge, and to his puzzle blocks he ran
After loading up his Yok, for the wall Todd quickly darted
He reached the top, with Amanda following closely behind
As of yet, no blocks by Courtney or Denise had been carted
The proper placement of their planks, neither had yet to find
By both Todd and Amanda, the two bridges were crossed
After gathering the last of his blocks, Todd scurried back
With her bridge complete, Courtney's blocks were tossed
Amanda, meanwhile, was delivering her final puzzle stack
Denise's struggle with her bridge's assembly was ongoing
As Todd, with his final Yok load, reached the top of the wall
Amanda followed with the last of the blocks she'd be towing
Courtney climbed atop, and the first of her blocks would fall
Courtney ran for a next load, passing Denise along the way
Denise finished her bridge, as off to the wall, Courtney sped
"Todd and Amanda have a huge lead", Jeff Probst would say
Courtney returned with a final load, with hopes of being fed
As Courtney got to work, Denise deposited her first haul
The rest were still at work, when Denise dropped her last
Now, all four frantically toiled with their section of the wall
With hopes of winning the comforting and beneficial repast
That their section of the wall be the color gray was the aim
If their individual color is visible, their placement is wrong
Todd and Amanda were close to having a pizza to claim
As Courtney and Denise determinedly moved along
In the end, Amanda was first with a finished wall of gray
"Amanda wins reward!", Jeff announced to the tired four
To the one to win the day, Jeff had something else to say
Along with the pizza, brownies and drinks, there was more
Amanda could share her winnings with one, or even two
It was a tough choice, said Amanda, looking at the three
Time with her sister, thanks to Denise, she was treated to
But then again, said Amanda, "I love Todd and Courtney"
With an apologetic look, Amanda invited Todd to lunch
Todd happily accepted, and Amanda he'd stand beside
For Denise and Courtney, there'd be no pizza to munch
The disappointment on their faces was hard to hide
Courtney and Denise headed back to Hae Da Fung
As Amanda and Todd took seats before a pizza pie
In her thoughts, said Amanda, an uneasiness hung
As for choosing him, she told Todd the reason why
Where his head was at, Amanda wished to ascertain
"I don't trust you", said she, having heard "some stuff"
"It has always been you and me", Todd would explain
Amanda called him the one most likely to retire her buff
Todd swore to Amanda that he was with her to the end
Amanda said she was glad they'd a chance to confer
Todd hoped on his pledge Amanda would depend
For, as he would later confide, "I really need her"
Back at camp, Denise went for a swim in the lake
Her odds of seeing final three were mulled about
With her head just above water, a claim she'd make
As for her alliance, "someone is going to be left out"
Later, both Denise and Courtney basked in the sun
Denise said she thought Todd and Courtney were tight
Now, it look as though Amanda was Todd's number one
Courtney asked who she was voting for the following night
Without a moments hesitation, "Todd", Denise would reply
In return, "he's a slippery little sucker", Courtney would say
When a distant sound was heard, a boat their eyes did spy
Todd and Amanda were ferried back from their time away
That afternoon, Denise and Todd had a not so private chat
Since he loved them all, said Todd, the next vote would hurt
Neither one realized a few yards behind them, Courtney sat
That she did not want to go home, Denise would then assert
That they would "go all girl power" on him, Todd was afraid
Todd said he'd "fight to win", as he knew everyone would do
Denise asked Todd, jury wise, who had it made in the shade
"Amanda or Courtney", said he, of Hae Da Fung's other two
Todd said he hoped there would be no future hard feelings
But the rules stated that out of the game, one must be voted
Nearby, Courtney considered Todd's wheelings and dealings
That he always "weasels himself into something", she noted
Later, Todd grew suspicious, eyeing Courtney and Amanda
The two women had strolled away from the shelter's view
Paranoia was making the rounds, in the land of the panda
Courtney told Amanda she just overheard the other two
That Todd was "talking different stories" to each, said she
For that reason, stated Amanda, choosing him was a must
Over pizza, she wished to determine where his head may be
She asked Todd why, in him, Courtney and she should trust
Shortly, Todd appeared, bringing to a halt their conversation
They agreed a plan to oust Denise would soon be unfurled
Todd trusted Amanda and Courtney, despite reservations
He said they'd be "the most fantastic final three in the world"
On day thirty eight, Todd collected the anticipated treemail
Before their final test, respect to twelve others will be paid
The four were instructed to board their boat and set sail
To the "giant statue of Guan Yin", a journey will be made
There, the torches of their fallen comrades will be found
As they pass each torch, there'll be fire crackers to light
Once they've heard every fire cracker's popping sound
They'll do battle for safety at Tribal Council that night
After paddling to the statue grounds, the final four docked
Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion stood tall
Toward the torches of the outplayed survivors, they walked
One by one, they lit the fire crackers of all who took the fall
Chicken took it personal when his advise wasn't heeded
As a result of his unhelpful attitude, he lasted three days
On day six, Ashley discovered she was no longer needed
Zhan Hu decided to do without her confrontational ways
Leslie was the first survivor to receive a hidden idol clue
Her popularity with Zhan Hu made her tribe mates wary
Dave wore out his welcome, for hot and cold he blew
His participation in a particular challenge was scary
Aaron's game fell prey to an unforeseen tribal switch
His torch was snuffed, after a challenge was thrown
Jean-Robert's departure Sherea was eager to pitch
Instead, she became the sixth survivor sent home
The "hidden idol" Jaime tried to play was no good
She departed Tribal Council with a slightly red face
Jean-Robert was certain he knew where he stood
On night twenty four, he found that wasn't the case
After the switch, Frosti competed for Fei Long's flag
He was sad Courtney chose to vote her munchkin out
James was voted off despite toting two idols in his bag
It was shocking to see, in light of an abundance of clout
Erik witnessed his torch be snuffed on night thirty three
With his ousting, he became the fifth member of the jury
Following right behind was the last of Zhan-Hu, Peih-Gee
For the four who remain, her tenaciousness was a worry
Once Peih-Gee's torch was passed, before Jeff they'd stand
"For the last time...immunity is back up for grabs", he'd state
If they eliminate distractions and "focus on the task at hand"
A guaranteed seat in the last Tribal Council could be their fate
On a "wobbly balancing arm", they'll stack dishes of porcelain
With each dish, the arm becomes more difficult to keep stable
They'll need to keep their dishes upright to avoid elimination
A necklace will be awarded to the one survivor who is able
Each of four stations were adjusted to their individual height
Beside each "arm" was a table, with many a dish on display
The balancing arm's handle, their right hands gripped tight
With their left hands, upon it a large plate they'd each lay
In quick succession, seven pieces of porcelain were placed
"Three, two, one...set it down", was said, after each request
At minute twenty seven, beads of sweat were easily traced
Three minutes later, two bowls were added, at Jeff's behest
For Todd, the extremely hot day was taking a noticeable toll
Looking ready to pass out, Todd had given all that he could
On the bench he'd sit, after dropping every plate and bowl
Shortly thereafter, Courtney would say, "I don't feel good"
Courtney's stack of dishes were beginning to wobble
"Stay focused", Jeff would urge the remaining three
Over to Todd, she would almost deliriously hobble
As from her station fell every porcelain dish that be
Only Amanda and Denise were still in contention
A heated and hurting Denise tried to strike a deal
In making a deal, said Amanda, she'd no intention
Amanda remained firm, despite Denise's appeal
A bit later, Denise's stack of porcelain hit the ground
As two days prior, "Amanda wins immunity!" was heard
It'll be her neck, once again, that immunity hangs around
Once back at Hae Da Fung, Amanda and Denise conferred
Denise asked Amanda about the vote that was pending
Amanda informed Denise a decision had yet to be made
She was unsure whom to the jury she would be sending
Amanda told Denise she admired the game she played
Denise mentioned the post-game lives the rest will lead
Yet for a return to being the lunch lady, she was gearing
Denise told Amanda this was her one chance to succeed
"The tribe has spoken", Denise wished not to be hearing
Amanda said she understood, but needed to further ponder
She would have to weigh "deserving" with "likelier to beat"
After Denise said her piece, she took a walk down yonder
Amanda spoke with Todd and Courtney, after her retreat
The three were in agreement that Denise would be leaving
After which, Amanda left Todd and Courtney to converse
In Amanda, said Todd, Courtney and he must be believing
Courtney's comment about Denise didn't fit into this verse
Amanda joined Denise, who would again plead her case
Since day one, said Amanda, with Todd she'd been aligned
Her ballot, she would add, Denise's name would not grace
However, she couldn't say the others would do so in kind
Denise mentioned that Amanda had said she had her back
Before leaving, Denise told Amanda she'd do the right thing
Amanda pulled aside Courtney, revealing a new plan of attack
Down upon Todd's head, a torch snuffing they should bring
Amanda cited Todd's likability with the members of the jury
His connections and sugarcoating abilities were highlighted
Todd playing the "smallest guy" card was an additional worry
Courtney said she'd cast her vote however Amanda decided
In a confessional, Amanda would speak of her confusion
The pros and cons of Denise and Todd could alter her fate
With the sun sinking low, she'd need to reach a conclusion
The four hiked off for Tribal Council, on night thirty eight
Jeff welcomed them, and proceeded to give the jurors a call
Once they were seated, Amanda took question number one
That she'd reassign immunity, was there a possibility at all?
"No way!", said Amanda, and Jeff's first question was done
Jeff asked Todd on what his upcoming vote would be based
Having been together since day one, said he, made it tough
Todd hoped to better his end game with the choice he faced
Still, that the four had grown close made the voting rough
Jeff asked Denise if it was fair to oust the "biggest threat"
Or, said he, should the "biggest threat" be given a fair shot"
That she was on "the bottom of the totem pole", she'd fret
Denise said that on the inside of her alliance, she was not
Jeff asked Courtney if Denise indeed was on the outside
Everyone was on the outside of some group, she replied
Feeling alienated can stem from insecurity, she'd confide
On perception, a lot of opinions and impressions relied
This led Jeff to ask Todd, "how important is perception?"
For only when the votes are cast, can one be really sure
Todd said, of the four, Amanda was the only exception
As for being voted off, they only knew it wouldn't be her
To Amanda, Jeff wondered if she'd been popular that day
Amanda said attitudes change when you've a free vote
Jeff asked Denise how Amanda's vote came into play
Denise said it all depended upon what Amanda wrote
Earlier, said Denise, Amanda said she had her back
It was Denise's hope that Amanda not write her name
Amanda interrupted, saying that was incorrect, in fact
She had Denise's back on certain days during the game
"I didn't say I had your back today", Amanda declared
Regarding her rebuttal, Todd eyes registered surprise
Jeff mentioned Todd's reaction over what was shared
That Denise had been hit hard was what he'd surmise
Jeff asked Amanda if that was a final Tribal preview
For Todd's "editorial comment" left her high and dry
Amanda said trying your best was "all you can do"
With the questioning complete, the vote was nigh
Jeff collected the votes, once the deed was done
He revealed whom was alloted an early release
Among the six jurors, it was a surprise to none
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Denise
