In the shelter, on night twenty one, it was a tight squeeze
Erik rather passively requested Jean-Robert make room
James informed Erik it was not necessary to say please
Jean-Robert wished to stay put, having faced down doom
Said he, "Jean-Robert thought he was going home tonight"
The appearance of Jaime's "idol" had thrown him for a loop
James sarcastically him asked if a hug would make it alright
Laughter was heard from the entire sardine packed group
Next morning, James pondered the original Fei Long tribe
They won together despite themselves, James would attest
A less than flattering assessment of Zhan Hu, he'd describe
James said they came to win a "high school friend contest"
Carrying his latest catch, James returned to Hae Da Fung
With two idols to advance him, he had it made in the shade
On the ladder to the million, James clung to an upper rung
That he might "win the whole thing", Amanda was afraid
Later that day, to a Reward Challenge they would paddle
Along two pools within platforms, their boat was docked
Jeff announced that in two teams of four they'll do battle
The nine survivors listened intently as Jeff Probst talked
One member from each team will sit inside a tiny boat
Into each boat, buckets of water could soon be raining
They will have to bail the water furiously, to stay afloat
As three opposing players attempt to thwart the draining
For the first team to twice sink a boat, an adventure awaits
They'll be entering a village of one thousand year old brick
Following the lead of two captains, they'll steer their fates
The two teams will be chosen through a schoolyard pick
Peih-Gee and Jean-Robert were randomly selected
Jokingly, Jean-Robert hesitated before naming James
A helpful effort from Frosti is what Peih-Gee expected
These two were then requested to call out two names
For team yellow, Todd was whom James opted for
Frosti named former mate Erik, for the team in red
Todd picked Amanda, bringing team yellow to four
What followed was a flashback Denise would dread
Erik was left to choose between Courtney and Denise
In the challenge, one of them would not be competing
Courtney was decided upon, for she weighed the least
Denise was out of the running for a feast to be eating
Courtney and Todd were the first with a boat to board
Upon Courtney, many a bucket of water began to pour
As a result of Todd having virtually no water to hoard
James, Jean-Robert, Amanda and Todd would score
In the second round, Frosti and Amanda did the sitting
As Courtney before him, Frosti was quickly inundated
Yet with Amanda, not many bucket tosses were hitting
For in the middle of the team's pool, she was situated
James, Jean-Robert and Todd sunk Frosti's little craft
Team yellow won the visit to a village long called home
Team red left with nothing, for at the sinking they gaffed
Denise accompanied them, through no fault of her own
The challenge champs arrived at the ancient village's gate
They were guided through streets one thousand years old
That he'd find the setting "romantic", James didn't anticipate
For him, the architecture and history were a sight to behold
Upon reaching their destination, to a table they were led
Jean-Robert's focus was on a mysterious bamboo tube
He gave the scroll an unroll, and five idol clues were read
Jean-Robert looked, sounded, and surely felt like a boob
"There is an idol clue...wow", said a clueless Jean-Robert
Barely able to contain himself, Todd managed a, "really..."
At the now worthless idol clues, Jean-Robert would stare
For an amused Amanda, the visit went better than ideally
Traditional Chinese dishes were brought to their table
Jean-Robert's wheels spinned, as he ate his mu-shu
His security in the game suddenly felt very unstable
Of James he would ask, "what happens to the clue?"
"It disappears", a twinkly-eyed James would say
Jean-Robert appeared to buy the non-explanation
Into his memory, the idol clues were stashed away
To help find an "American immunity idol"'s location
Jean-Robert blamed the wine for his verbal blunder
His laughter would mask the fact that he was shaken
Not knowing of an idol's existence made him wonder
For three others, great pleasure from this was taken
A meal was prepared at Hae Da Fung, upon landing
The events of the day had Denise in a pensive mood
She hoped it wasn't an omen, being "last one standing"
As Peih-Gee said they should thank James for the food
Denise expressed shocked surprise to Fei Long's final two
For they didn't take out James when they had they chance
Erik said a vote for James would be the wisest thing to do
Denise said Jean-Robert should lose a chance to advance
"We have five right here", pointed out Peih-Gee, to the four
Courtney and Frosti silently listened to what she'd suggest
Jean-Robert, James, Todd and Amanda would be no more
Denise said she'd weigh the pros and cons of her request
To Denise and Courtney a proposition was presented
In the event either of them were to reach the final two
If at Tribal, said Peih-Gee, her name is not represented
Casting a vote for them to win the cash is what she'll do

Into the cramped quarters, the four would quietly creep

He remembered "four bats", from idol clue number three
Jean-Robert hid the archway's remaining plaques away
He obviously missed the spot where a plaque used to be
Despite the empty space clearly seen in the light of day
Jean-Robert planned to examine his confiscated plaques
As to "which one is right", he would make a determination
He now had a "trump card", to avert Tribal Council attacks
For Jean-Robert, the previous day had been a revelation

Todd told James he had consumed a quarter of the meal
Better than anyone, said Jean-Robert, had James faired
Since he did the fishing, James thought it not a big deal

Especially given the extra food piled upon his plate

Considering Todd put a first idol directly in his hand
As well, he told James where Zhan Hu's was situated
That James wouldn't share, Todd couldn't understand
Todd wanted some "craziness" injected into the game
Blindsiding James would most certainly provide a jolt
Ousting a huge threat such as he became Todd's aim
For a conference with Amanda, he would quickly bolt
Todd told Amanda that James would see the final four
With the pair of idols he possessed, it was a guarantee
Amanda believed it wiser to show Peih-Gee the door
Todd disagreed, citing James' ability to win immunity
"That's idol, idol, idol", said Todd, of the certain calamity
Amanda considered the possibilities Todd brought to light
"How can we get rid of him if he has two idols?", asked she
Todd said they'll convince James that it's Peih-Gee's night
"He won't play the idol", was the next of Todd's claims
A nervous Amanda would give the plot some thought
Todd clued in Frosti, regarding the blindsiding of James
Frosti had nary a qualm, as more time for him it bought
When the sun was high in the sky, a hike got underway
For the remaining nine, individual immunity was at stake
An eighth player would be exiting on the twenty fourth day
Their eyes met a swamp, in which was coiled a giant snake
They'll sit atop barrels, of which the snake was constructed
Gallons of water, nine of the colorful barrels would contain
Pushing a yellow lever will render each barrel unobstructed
After which, the water inside the barrels will begin to drain
They must then push a red lever, which unlocks each barrel
The increasing instability of the barrels will cause a splash
Whomever avoids muddying up their tattered, torn apparel
Along with immunity, wins a one in eight shot at the cash
Jeff warned that on their barrel, their hands must remain
The nine climbed atop the snake, and the battle was on
From dispensing taunts, Jean-Robert could not refrain
At ten minutes in, a distracted Jean-Robert was gone
Shortly thereafter, Denise took a tumble into the mud
James struggled for control of the barrel beneath him
At twenty minutes in, James hit the mud with a thud
Erik followed, having fallen prey to his barrel's spin
Peih-Gee's barrel had reached the point of no return
To avoid a muddy dunking, she daintily stepped down
Amanda broke the rules, and a disqualification she'd earn
For on the barrel in front of her, both her hands were found
At the thirty minute mark, a whimsical Frosti began to sing
Despite also beginning to sway, Frosti managed a fine save
Todd was next to falter, unable to control his barrel's swing
An update on the still motionless Courtney, Jeff then gave
"Courtney has not moved in thirty two minutes", he'd say
"I am lazy", stated Courtney, as a smiling Frosti looked on
Suddenly, his out of control barrel took Frosti out of play
Making it Courtney whom the necklace was placed upon
Back at camp, Jean-Robert told Courtney, "way to go"
Courtney was surprised to have secured immunity
Whoever was headed home, she cared not to know
With a gleeful giggle, Courtney said, "can't get me"
Peih-Gee was "crushed" over her challenge defeat
For on the block, she knew her head was resting
With her allies, she hoped Denise might take a seat
A lot of scrambling is what Peih-Gee was investing
In the lake, Jean-Robert and Erik were idly wading
Jean-Robert said the former Zhan Hu were in a hole
Erik disagreed, saying most found Jean-Robert grating
To which Jean-Robert said for him a bell would not toll
"I have the hidden immunity idol", he confidently stated
Erik informed Jean-Robert he was most likely incorrect
Omitting the part where James' pants were investigated
That James found both idols, Jean-Robert could expect
Both camps had an idol plaque, Erik would further explain
Having viewed James as an ally, Jean-Robert felt slighted
The conversation provided the foothold Erik hoped to gain
They may "pull a fast one on James", Jean-Robert confided
A bit later, James and Jean-Robert inspected the fishing net
James was asked his thoughts regarding the five idol clues
"I don't know", he replied, adding he had not searched yet
In return, James asked Jean-Robert if he had any news
That James was holding out on him, was his "realization"
He was aware James had two immunity idols up his sleeve
James told Jean-Robert he had been fed "misinformation"
Jean-Robert told James that not one word did he believe
Taking the "best course" to the end, said he, was a must
They'll need to work together in their outlasting endeavor
James felt in Jean-Robert he should never place his trust
In "'Survivor' history", that would be the "worst move ever"
Once on shore, Jean-Robert and Todd spoke on the sly
Jean-Robert began the discussion with, "big news, bro"
He relayed the tale of James removing idols from on high
An amused Todd agreed that James should be next to go
Back at camp, Todd put Amanda and James on the page
Regarding Jean-Robert's "news", the three were talking
Todd told James a campaign against him one would wage
As the notion of taking him out, Jean-Robert was hawking
"Someone told him about the idols", an irate James said
None of the three were sure who to place the blame upon
Todd declared the vote should be for Jean-Robert, instead
Though she agreed, Amanda still wanted Peih-Gee gone
James wanted Denise out of the loop, for she was wavering
When the three updated Courtney, her reaction was sub-par
Courtney wasn't enthused over whom they were favoring
As he'd been the "Susan Lucci of Tribal Council", so far
Once the sun had set, they entered the ceremonial site
Jaime, the first member of the jury, was shown a seat
Jeff asked Courtney about wearing immunity that night
Did she ever guess the rest would go down in defeat?
"Hell no!", Courtney replied, with a "go figure" grin

James said it was the "talkers" that gave him pause
The numbers, Jeff told Peih-Gee, set her up to lose

As a cunning, crafty lobbyist, he felt Erik would sit

It was "scary", since he expected to see his name
